Took the car in for safety recall on the air bag that garnered national attention recently. A quick scheduling for a Saturday, plus asked the Service dept to look inot the darkened lighting on the odometer. The airbag service was done and the odometer, which was pointed out by the Service personnel John Appel, that it was still visible albeit quite dim. He saved us $ by recommending status quo, as the cost of replacing would greatly exceed the benefit. Thanks.
