Where to begin? I have been a customer of Aspen Auto Clinic for almost 8 years now. The service has been horrible this past year. I just took my car in to get an oil change using my 5 pack I bought a while back. I upgraded to synthetic oil this time as I have done the previous two oil changes. I was charged the upgrade but my sticker was only put for 3,000 miles which it has normally been 5,000 miles. This lends me to believe they printed the wrong sticker or they used the wrong oil. I looked back at previous receipts and they have been inconsistently charging me different amounts of oil. If they drain it entirely and fill it up again, shouldn't it be the same amount each time? They then told me that I needed a new air filter. I asked if it was really bad and they said yes. So I just had them replace it. The receipt that i got said the air filter was a little dirty but doesn't need to be change right now. Where on earth does this come from? Either my filter wasn't dirty or they just put random stuff under the recommendations. Either way, they are clearly not consistent here. Let's continue... They said they didn't rotate my tires because they needed to be replaced. The receipt said they were at 3/32 but they are clearly not there yet. I even got a second professional opinion and they were more around 8/32. They just said that to get out of doing my free tire rotation that was a part of my oil pack that I bought. I am going in to talk to them face to face today. If things don't get resolved accordingly, I am going to throw away the rest of my oil pack and never come back to Aspen Auto Clinic.
Very pissed customer,
Joe Damewood
P.S. Let's not forget the last time when they held my car overnight without my permission after I clearly stated that I needed my car back the same day.
