I had a very good experience overall at Taylor dodge. My first impression driving in was a very well kept lot with easy to find parking spaces for customers directly in front. I called ahead and was greeted with a polite sales manager who had the vehicle I wanted to see parked in front, washed, where I could check it out on my own if I wanted. As I looked over the vehicle, I was approached by Tim Slattery (who I spoke to on the phone) who was cordial and never pushy. I did tons of research prior to my visit and probably knew more about the vehicle than Tim but he was able to tell me about things I could not research, like previous owner and provided a carfax report. I also knew what the vehicle was worth and how much I wanted to pay for it. The asking price was pretty good to start but I made my offer and Tim took it to the back room, to whoever, and shortly returned with a handshake and a smile. After that a Tim had a porter take the vehicle for a final clean-up and even added fuel! That was impressive. Also Tim informed me that anytime I was in the area I could swing by for a free carwash! The dealership was squeaky clean with tons of light and exceptionally comfortable chairs. Even the bathrooms were very clean. Tim made sure that I had a bottled water or coffee at all times. There were pastries available near the coffee, a popcorn popper by the front door and even a cell phone charging station at the front desk with every adaptor known to man. I did not have to wait too long for anything and was very satisfied with my purchase. I needed to get some paperwork turned in to the dealership and was unable to do so that day. Tim offered to swing by my work to pick it up on his way to the dealership the following day! This is above and beyond good service! After spending a day with my purchase I realized the CD changer was not working. I contacted Tim who set up an appointment with the service department. When I arrived at the service department I was once again greeted with a polite service employee who took my keys and made sure I knew where the coffee and pastries were located. The service waiting area is also impressively clean with room for kids and plenty of magazines to read and an HDTV to watch. Did I mention that the chairs are incredibly comfortable? I returned home with my still broken CD changer while the service people figured out how they wanted to handle my problem. I spoke to the service employee a few times over the phone (I don't remember his name), who wasn't much of a people person, but helpful none the less. Eventually the consensus was the dealer will replace the changer once they locate a replacement unit. It has been a few days so I hope to hear back soon.
