HORRIBLE customer service! 8/28/2013

What a huge customer service disappointment. I went in to Staples on Monday, 8/26, to purchase school supplies for my daughter & office supplies for my business. Three-quarters of the way through a very large check out, the cash register froze & we were forced to move & wait for another register to be opened. Once we checked out, we put all bags that had been handed to us into the cart & loaded them into the car. Upon our arrival home, we discovered that 7 of the 38 items had not been included in our order, although they had been paid for. I politely contacted the store to see when we could come down & pick up the items that had not been loaded into our bags & was informed that the store would do nothing for us, even though we had provided a copy of the receipt for them. Several of the items were $1 special items, though two were $9 thumb drives on special. If we had been wanting to rip them off, we wouldn't be asking for $1 items.
