I have a beautiful 3 stone anniversary ring. I dropped it onto my bathroom ceramic tile floor and one of the side diamonds became totally cloudy. My husband and I had no idea what had happened. We brought the ring to Coffrin's and spoke to Darren. He explained to us that the diamond was shattered, (who knew that could happen to a diamond). He was very knowledgeable, had seen this occur before and reassured us that our insurance would cover this.\r

The diamonds in the ring had originally been perfectly matched. We were concerned about being able to get a replacement diamond that would match . Darren researched and found a perfect match!! We went in and looked at it and it was perfect. \r

In the past I was always concerned about leaving my ring at any jewelers. (you always hear horror stories about stones being switched) Darren put out minds at ease. He showed us the GIA numbers on each stone under the microscope and noted all of them on the receipt.\r

When we picked up the ring, it was beautiful, they had buffed the platinum and the diamond was a perfect match. Darren photographed the damaged diamond under the microscope (it was amazing) and composed a very detailed letter for our insurance company. He proceeded to show us the GIA numbers under the microscope to verify the stones. He took a very upsetting incident and made it into an informative and enjoyable lesson.
