Heather has been my attorney for many years. When I first picked Heather to represent me I had no idea how long my case would be and that we would have a relationship for many years. My case started as a legal separation, then converted to a divorce and then stayed a custody case. The separation/divorce part took a couple of years but the custody portion has lasted for over 10 years. Every time I think I am done with court…I am not. Heather has been there with me through it all. Every time I feel like I am going to lose my case (or my mind), Heather pulls me through and keeps my daughter with me. About 5 years into the custody battle, I thought I could do it on my own – I was wrong. I went to court – lost a huge portion of my case – and went back and got Heather back. She stepped in and immediately fixed what I thought I could do on my own. I feel like Heather is not only my attorney but also now a friend. I trust her to do what is best for me. She actually cares about my concerns and has spent many hours getting me through many battles. Her staff is also very supportive. I have dealt with everyone from the receptionist to her assistant and each one makes me feel like I am a priority in the office. There have been times when associate attorneys who work for Heather have appeared with me in court and I feel like each one has represented me just as strongly as Heather.
