DO NOT RENT FROM THESE HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!!!! I rented from them while attending Auburn University. My apartment was broken into 3 times in one week, along with many others in the neighborhood. I pulled police reports to prove so. A neighbor even had a bullet left on her door step as a threat. I came to the owners of Northcutt realty and begged them to please let me out of my lease as I could not sleep or stand to be in this unsafe environment. The repairman who fixed my kicked in door even said that he has fixed multiple doors from break-ins in the area. As a 20 year old girl I did not feel safe there, but Northcutt would not let me move anywhere else or get out of my lease. I had never been late on a payment or had any issues as a renter. So the only thing I could do was leave, but could not afford to pay rent on two places, while still in college!!! Northcutt Realty took me to court, and made me pay for the rent plus court fees and lawyer fees. The total came to around $4,000. They also tried to say in court that I broke into the house myself... which is insane & tried to get us to pay for the door to be fixed in those fees. These are horrible heartless people. I learned this through getting to know each one of them personally by visiting multiple times to beg them to please let me live somewhere safe! Please do not let your kids rent from these crooks!!!!
