To all who may read this rating.\r
As Village of Belgium President I was very concerned at some of the rumors that I was hearing about the Regency Inn Motel. I have been working with the owners for the past two and one half (2 1/2) years. What I did after the last rumor was to call the State Department of Health Services. Mary Ellen Bruesch from the state department of Health Services made an unannounced visit to the Regency Inn Motel. After her random inspection I was called to talk with both the health inspector and the owner. I asked what her findings were, and I quote ?these some of the cleanest rooms I have ever seen?.\r
The three (3) of us talked for a while. I had asked which rooms she had inspected. After the Health inspector left, I asked to see a few rooms myself. I picked 3 rooms that the inspector did not look at. My findings were exactly the same as the inspectors. The rooms that I saw were very clean, neat, and well maintained. Granted it is not the newest furniture or decor, but there was nothing wrong with any furniture or fixtures. \r
I have read every review that has been posted. People are aloud their own opinion, but what I am getting from the negative postings is that they were unhappy because the rooms were not the newest.\r
We can all find fault with anything if we wanted to. What I will personally ask all of you who read these ratings is take it with a grain of salt and form your own opinion.\r
Thank you and take care.\r
