They do not allow parents in the room during examinations or procedures. What are they trying to hide? All other dentists allow it and actually encourage it with pediatrics. When my daughter requested that I be in the room during her first filling, they outright said no and that ""it was policy to not allow it"". The dentist was downright rude and stated ""parents coddle their kids too much"" and if your child continues to be anxious, perhaps she needs counseling. EXCUSE ME?!?! Other negatives: They ONLY schedule procedures during the morning which means your child will miss school. They push the use of ""pre-meds: aka Valium on children that may be a little anxious at the dentist. They use gas a lot as well, which is not typical at most dentists that I've seen. I was shocked by how many poor reviews this dentist received on a moms group for cape cod. Definitely would NOT recommend the dentist as she can be abrasive, rude and condescending. I guess she forgot that WE hire her for a service and if she doesn't provide the service well, WE can hire someone else. We are the boss, not her. She just lost yet another family! The only positive is the hygenists are very friendly and kind and the tv's in the ceiling.
