I found this therapist to be nice on the surface but I did not connect with her. She seemed phony. I felt like she would say things to agree with me or what she thought i wanted to hear. I felt like instead of encouraging me to work things out with my husband (which is what I wanted to do) she was encouraging or feeding my anger. I needed to work through my anger and hurt because ultimately my husband and I did not handle our issues in a constructive way. Allowing me to vent is one thing but to encourage me to take a stand based on my perspective I was not helpful. \r

I also did not like that she keeps emailing me to followup with smiley faces (childish). If I wanted to continue seeing her, I would call. She cushions it by expressing concern but I know it is about the money. She is expensive and when her calendar is not full, she starts calling. It is quite transparent.
