This Clinic has changed hands and there is a new lady vet there. Her actions greatly upset me. I took my dog to Community where I have gone for years, after waiting more than an hour I saw this lady vet. My dog had a lump on her leg near the first joint from her paw. I asked if the lump could be checked to see if it was a fatty lump or more serious. She said the only way they could do that was to remove the lump and send it off after the surgery was performed. I asked if something less invasive could be done and she said no. I was uncomfortable having her do surgery and when I got home discovered there was a second lump on the dog, she had not even examined her to see if there were other lumps. it turned out when I took my dog to a second vet, that they could insert a needle and tell if it was cancer. I was also told that the check needed to be done because the margins in the leg near the dew claw were so small that if would be difficult to get all the cancer. It turned out my dog has mast cell cancer. it could have been treated much earlier if I had had what turned out to be a easy quick diagnosis elsewhere. tNow a third lump has come up. I am shocked and upset this vet did not do the simple test that told me that the dog had cancer in the first place. This delayed any treatment over a month when a third lump came up and i decided to get a second opinion. Please be very careful if you see this lady more
