I used Starving Students for the second time in December 2012 and it was by far the worst move of my life. To move my one bedroom apartment 1 mile down the road it cost over $600, the movers complained the whole time, one of them faked an injury, two of the movers ignored me when I asked them questions, they repeatedly dropped my new, white mattress on the pavement and in the dirt so now there are permanent black stains on it. They ripped my couch, did not provide me with ANY wardrobe boxes, as I had been told they would I booked the appointment, which resulted in me having to move my clothing on my own at a later date. I asked the movers to dispose of a couch behind my building in the dumpsters and instead they moved it into my neighbor's lawn, for which I had to pay a removal fee. One of the movers reminded me several times that they accept tips. These movers did not feel like moving several of my pieces of furniture and offered to put heavy items such as my tv in my car for me so I could finish moving. I ended up spending several days moving additional material out of my old apartment and into my new apartment after this horrible, wretched and pointless waste of money.
