I second the caution. I had a similar experience a few years ago. There was an auto-renewal ($60 for me) in the fine print we knew nothing about. When I called the customer service I was basically told that it was a share holders decision and they would do nothing to make it right. The rep was not rude (not really understanding either) but just completely unwilling (or unable) to make the situation right despite it's obvious scam-like policy.
