Although it is true the teachers and staff are generally excellent-- the headmaster, parent council, school community, and board are a disaster. The headmaster is sexist and arrogant with much to be desired in the way of people skills. The board is self appointed with the most wealthy parents dominating and pushing through unpopular agendas. Lots of unethical politics that are not tolerated in public schools with no avenue of recourse as the headmaster receives perks from lead families.\r
Sadly, Oak Hill does not fulfill it's promise as a premier institution. For the money spent on tuition one can supplement a public education and save for college -- without the nonsense.
