I investigated composite roofing but am glad I stayed with shake. I appreciate the in-depth discussion I had with them on some of the benefits of shake, such as it breathes compared to composite. We are very pleased with the results. The shakes Zimmerman used are heavy duty and I have confidence they will last for many, many years.
