In response to Girard S.\r
1st I would like to say I am sorry you feel our service department failed you. We take pride in the service we offer our customers. I did look into your account and many of your facts you stated are not correct. This softener was purchased by the previous home owner on 7/14/2009. It was not a new softener but a refurbished model with a 1 year warranty at a cost of $350.00 not $1000 as you stated. 1 year is the warranty given to our customers on our refurbished softeners. On 5/14/2010 the softener was serviced for a screw that was loose on the salt dial. That was corrected and working properly. We have not serviced the unit since and have no reports of any further problems. It is now 2012 almost 3 years since the softener was purchased. There are many factors as to why the softener quit working but without having our service department looking at the unit I don't know what would be wrong with it. We do offer new softeners that come with a 3 year warranty and others that come with a 10 year warranty. Our products do have a long life span and are very reliable. If the softener that was purchased was a new one it would still be under warranty.
