Recently, I visited the office of the Williamson Herald to inquire about public notices in previous publications. Due to the change in management/ ownership of the paper this was not an easy task. I was delighted and relieved to find two young ladies, Pam and Melissa, who took on the task to assist me. During my investigation of a situation regarding a public concern, I have been faced with many roadblocks. Many of the problems include the inaction of employees of local publications and their unwillingness to help protect the rights of Tennessee consumers.
