I MIGHT give them another star if my turtle gets better. Our 20+ yr old turtle has been sick recently (mind you, for the first time ever), so like the very caring owners we are, we took it to the only vet around that takes turtles. We waited 45 minutes past our appointment time until they even took the turtle. Another 15 to actually be let into the exam room ourselves, and another 20 until he came in. After throwing a bunch of medical jumbo at us and acting like we were terrible owners for a measly 10 minutes, he made us sit in the room alone for another 20 minutes. Perhaps if the bench was even remotely comfortable I wouldn't have minded so much. Then like other people said, we were then pushed into expensive medications (one, I'm pretty sure is a nasal decongestant...for a turtle).
