After becoming a fan of roller derby the last few years, I thought ""Hey, I can do that."" But I had no derby experience and didn't even know where to begin to learn until I found OneWorld Roller Derby. This group of skaters really makes you feel welcome and are eager to teach. Even if you have never been on skates, or it's been a really long time, they help you figure it out. I feel very positive that I can become a great derby skater and it is all because of OWRD. I've been skating with OWRD for about 2 months and having the time of my life.
