When I first met Dr. Brett I was an alcoholic. I used to go to AA meetings, but even though I didn?t drink anymore I felt very sad and lonely. As I pushed everyone away with my drinking problem now it was very hard for me to reconnect with old friends. Dr. Brett made me feel that I am worthy of forgiveness, and he gave me the courage and strength to do the first steps in order to get it. He was my inspiration and because I didn?t want to be a disappointment for him too I made an effort and changed my life.
