Watch out!. The same thing that happened to ""onefortheroad"" happened to me! I called last night and told a very nice woman that I had a really nice 4'x6'- foot rug (Oriental, very thick), and she quoted me a ballpark of $95 (plus extra for the fringeing I thought I might want), and said they could come this morning for an estimate. Then when the two guys got here (15 minutes late, making me late for work), they called ""Sarah"" in the office, gave her no info other than the size, and suddenly the estimate was $125 for the cleaning alone! I said no way, and the two guys REALLY didn't want to leave, kept trying to convince me that I ""wouldn't be happy with"" the $95 job, because my rug is cream-colored. Huh? Steer clear!!!!!
