If you haven't noticed, Capital Pediatric Group is advertising URGENT CARE and walk-ins. My child is not an established patient at this office, but what do you think of when you hear urgent care? you would expect that if it is urgent care they would have most of the things and ER would have. That is not the case at this office. My child fell of his bike had a cut that required stitches and a fracture as well. I decided to take my child to this office since it is near by and thought it wouldn't be as crazy as waiting in an ER office. When i got there, i was told that 1. they do not have an x-ray machine. 2. they do not do stitches. 3. i would be charged an urgent care fee. on top of that, i was sent out to do x-rays and stitches at an ER. i was stuck with an urgent care fee on top of an ER fee. how inconvenient is that. DO NOT ADVERTISE AS URGENT CARE IF INDEED IT IS NOT URGENT CARE!
