in our day and time it very easy to blog negative things about people and companies so i roy would like to make a little rebuttal on mr b comments about clearvision - after receiving an estimate mr b decided not to have his unit repaired and as a favor we help him drag the unit that was upstairs out to the curb where at time he changed his mind and wanted the unit fixed - we did charge him the 75.00 dollar house call - it is customary to pay for when a service was provided - uponed further testing after the unit was brought into the shop we found there were more modules that were damaged from the excessive amount of voltage due to the power surge that hit mr b home - the way we try to explain it to customer with little knowledge of electronics is when you have a car that will not start and you put a new battery in the car and you turn the key and you hear a loud noise and the car still wont start because the starter is bad well there was no way of knowing that the starter was defective with out changing the battery first - when we were at mr b house it was a late night call and it was very obvious that he had hade several alcoholic drinks hence the change of mind after declining the estimate - when we called mr b to tell him the unit was not economical to repair he went ballistic and wanted the unit repaired at the original price and became very difficult - well after several conversations with mr b it became quit apparent that working for a pharmaceutical company has it privileges - mr b call our shop 62 times in one night after closing hours - these calls ended at two am on a work week night - in short mr b did have to pay 75.00 for a service call and we returned his unit to his home in the same condition we picked the unit up - we are not god there was no way to foresee the damage done to the unit until we installed the power supply - remember kids drinking and drugging will get you no where in life and does make for a very unpleasant one if you can stay up all night calling the same phone number over and over and getting the same result every time well we thing that is the definition of insanity you might want to seek help - we are not perfect but we do all that we can to please ever customer - being in business for over 20 years in the same small town has to account for something....
