I?ve always been popular in school. Everybody wanted to be friends with me, and I used to love all the attention. But, when my parents decided to move in another state I never thought things were about to change so much. At the new school I was completely invisible, and some of the colleagues were even making fun of me. I soon became very depressed and was feeling lonely. My mom noticed that I was spending all my free time in my room, and that I never had friends coming over. She got me an appointment with Dr. Brett and I might say that this has been the first step to recovering my old popular self. Dr. Brett taught me that the way I am seen by others depends entirely on me. He made every therapy session fun and interesting, and he cured my depression.
