DO NOT USE WHITEGLOVE. No, seriously. Don't even consider it. We've been without our stuff for 2 weeks now sitting in an empty house. Everyone has been completely unprofessional, has misled about everything we were expecting, and have had zero follow-up calls and status calls. We were misquoted a price, which we paid in full before the movers showed up, and had to pay an extra $800 because we had a few more boxes. Obviously we had to agree since all of our stuff was boxed up and the movers were already packing things into the truck. They also have all sorts of extra fees if there are stairs, long driveways, etc. $75 extra for each little detail. All of which isn't told to you until you sign your stuff away. We were told initially (during the quote phase) that our delivery would take 7-10 days. Then once we agreed, that changed to 7-10 business days. Then once we sent the money, it changed to 14 business days. Then once the movers packed up all of our stuff, it was 14 business days from your first available date. When the movers came to pick up our stuff, it was just 2 guys. it took 9 HOURS. I also had to feed these people (which having an empty house meant that I had to order food... on my dime). They also didn't have any tools. I had to unpack one of my boxes to give them tools. I've had to call and call almost every day asking where the hell my stuff is. Every time I call I get a new answer. This is the worst experience I've had. It's also cost me $4,500. We've been camping in an empty house and eating out every night. Added cost of eating out every night for a family? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Update: Still waiting for my furniture. I had to call the dispatch and try to get an update. They told me ""for sure Saturday, worst case Sunday"". I was also told the driver would call me Friday. He didn't. I had to call today (Saturday) and I woke him up (at 2pm). It took 5 minutes for him to wrap his head around who he was talking to. He told me he would be here tomorrow morning between 8 and 11. Now, he just called me this evening to tell me his truck broke down and won't be able to fix it tomorrow since it's Sunday. He said maybe Monday. Are you freaking kidding me??????? What's next? Will all of my stuff be broken when I finally get it? Will I have 2 extra bills for unexpected expenses? I've never been more upset about a company in my life. more
