I blame myself for not doing research first.
Jonathan Levi is owner & he does not run a reputable pest control business or air duct co. He also operates under Quality Air Duct, Inc. While I thought I called American Pest Control to figure out if there were mice or rats making noise in my attic. he sold me new ducting, attic fan & replace my R30 insulation for over $3000. He takes your money, does lousy job and runs. I tried to stop payment on check Sat Am, too late, already cashed that Fri. Wells Fargo said any company that doesn't accept credit card like this co. should not be dealt with. He's so charming until there's problem and then turns mean and unwilling to deal with you. How can anyone like this stay in business?
I told him I could hear chattering & scratching in attic. He came to check & said it's dozens rats, because he found droppings. He only came to sign contract & left 2 latino guys to do work Friday AM. They are not qualified pest control. 'Kevin' told me there is a mother skunk w/ six babies in attic. He proceeded to shout & stomp to chase them away. (I could hear him doing it) I said to make sure they are all gone. He said he checked, and they all left through the roof vent and assured me there were no babies left behind. He sealed up vent where mother got in. That same night I could hear babies crying it was heartbreaking. I frantically called Jonatan cell phone to report babies still stuck in attic. Next morning, mother raccoon on my roof & had torn away roof molding, shingles, tarpaper in 2 places trying to get to babies. A RACOON. His guy Kevin could not even identify ""pest', which shows how unqualified they are.
Jonathan never responded that night or all weekend. He called Monday AM & denied any wrongdoing. I wanted refund, I hired him for work that was not treated properly & had roof damange to boot. He said it's not the guys fault, another animal probably got in there. His guy Kevin talked me into getting an attic fan for $375. Before I paid, I asked to see the work. He said couldn't allow me in attic for 72 hrs because chemical poisons were sprayed and didn't want me to get sick. He said took a picture & showed me a cell phone picture of attic fan, I don't know who's it was, because I crawled into attic at 1AM that night to try to get babies out, & there was NO fan installed. Busted! I told that to Jonathan, & he agreed that if he send Kevin back out so I could show him where the Fan is not there, he would send me check ASAP for $375. What? What kind of business are you running, charging people for something that was not done and then asking me to prove to you it was not done.
People be warned, as K.W. says stay far away from American Pest Control and Quality Air Duct, Inc. I was almost too embarrassed to admit to being swindled, but I want to make sure other people don't get duped
