After paying bill at restaurant, we accidentally left our credit card in the ""book"" the waitstaff uses to transact pmt (our bad). After realizing this, went back to restaurant in hopes it had been turned in, only to find out the waiter's shift was over and had left the premises with our card in his pocket. He ""forgot"" to turn it in to the desk. Wasn't willing to bring back anytime soon either. Manager said it would ve returned in a couple of hours and apologized but wasn't too concerned. Said our card would be at front desk when waiter got around to bringing back. Obviously, card cancelled. Manager didn't even offer to comp the $12 lunch bill for the inconvenience. Unbelievable
