I could not be happier with my experience! I came to Winston's after trying several other local Jewelry stores in the area and stumbling accross the website. I was looking for somone to help me with my custom engagement ring. Having a very modest budget and looking to create something unique, I purchased seperately a diamond and a cool 40's style setting that I know my girl is gonna love. All I needed was somone to custom mount the stone on the ring. \r
Because I purchased the diamond and the ring seperatley, most of the jewelers I went to told me that they wouldn't even touch it unless one or the other had been purchased at their store. The ones who said they could do it quoted me ridiculous prices and often treated me like a second class citezen because I wasn't willing to come in and drop 10k on one of their premade peices. \r
Winston's was truly a breath of fresh air! They were polite and respectful from the beginning. They listened attentively to what I was wanting to have done and paid close attention to the details. The original quote, because it was custom work and they thought it would require some fabrication, was around 400 dollars. After they began to work on the ring, they realized that they could actually do it for much cheaper by keeping the original setting and just reinforcing the old prongs. This would both save me money and also keep the style looking a lot closer to what i had originally envisioned. I picked up the ring today and it looks BEAUTIFUL!! She is going to be thrilled. And best of all it only cost me 100 bucks!! Any other store would have gone ahead with the original quote that I had agreed to but at Winston's my needs came first and they truly put the customer first. I am so impressed and would recommend them to EVERYONE!!
