let me start by saying my husband has been going to creature castle a year or so...we have 2 snakes...anyway about 2 and a half months ago my son wanted 2 hamsters or gerbals. so we were in so we decided to get 2 gerbals. I made it VERY CLEAR I wanted to males or 2 females because I didnt want them breeding..so the lady that works there picked up 2 of them and looked between their legs and said yes these are both males..i said great paid and went home... about a month later my son yelled Mom come look at this...to my surprize there were 5 little pink things in the cage...I called them then and was very upset..i said i didnt want them breeding and now i have babies...they lady on the phone said please keep them when they are 5 weeks old bring them in and we will give you 1 dollar each for them. well we were in brandon yesterday so i thought lets take them in...the didnt open til noon and it was 11:32, so my husband knocked on the door...i was sitting in the truck and it was taking along time so i got out to see what was going on, my husband said honey they cant take them. I looked at the lady and said you will take them...it was ur mistake. i asked for the same sex, so there would be no babies, so you WILL take them..and then she snached the bucket from my husband so she could get them, then asked if we wanted our bucket back. oh and something about getting store bucks with every purchase you buy...we never got anything like this... bottom line...go somewhere else...the people that work here are so rude and dont care about your needs or the needs of your pet
