I've only shopped at two comic stores in my life, and although I love Excalibur, I have to say, I've had a lot of good times at Batcave.
The staff is helpful. There's never pressure to buy something I'm unsure about. They watch nerdy movies like Return of the Kung Fu Dragon, and make me feel welcome.
If you're ever unsatisfied with a purchase (which almost never happens), just talk to them about it. They're pretty reasonable.
