I was a little reserved about going to Starr's, due to some of these reviews. After 2 visits to them, my reservations were annihilated. My first visit, I had just moved here from California (drove), and took my Lexus Rx300 in. I was having problems with my brakes, and my car felt a bit off balance, and also to get an oil change. I had walked in, Trevor helped me, and told me they'd take a look at it. About 20min after dropping it off, Trevor called me, and said there's some serious problems, caused by my previous mechanic. Trevor was able to name EXACTLY, everything that my previous mechanic had done before I took the drive from Cali. to here, without even knowing what had been done. I ended up paying for everything my previous mechanic had done again, and then some because of the previous mechanics faults. In my opinion, my old mechanic had put my life, and others in danger, by not doing the repairs properly. The guys at Starr's, made sure myself and others were safe, because after picking my car up it had NEVER driven smoother, or had been that quite, while driving. Several months later (this past Thurs.), for my next oil change, I also wanted to get my tires rotated as well. Once again, these guys hooked me up greatly, after a LONG week of bad luck with everything. Again Trevor helped me, real honest, straight foward guy, and you don't find that much these days, most of the time it's people out for themselves only. I already knew my battery, spark plugs, air filter, needed to be replaced. And I had a suspision about an oil leak also, after looking under the hood a few days earlier. I was trying to avoid having to get them done, and didn't mention them to Trevor. Well, Trevor called me 20min later, honest as can be and said they needed to be replaced immediately, and that he's 99% sure the leak was a gasket that had not been put back after my timing belt was replaced (old mechanic again). Just as how my luck had been last week, everything was going wrong, and it showed to them too. They were not able to finish my car that day, and it was going to be finished the next day by 9am.. Wrong, they ended up getting a brand new battery and bam, a dud. So they had to wait for another one to come in, they were feeling my pain. I didn't ask them to replace any of my bulbs, but they did out of courtesy no charge, because of how long it was taking (Thanks Guys) :). Got my car back later that after noon, looked under the hood and everything was done as said (some places tell you they did something, but never did, or say "they forgot", not these guys), but of course my bad luck kicked in again on Sat., check engine light came on at random. Called Starr's and unfourtunately they were closing shop for the rest of the weekend, and I was 30mi away, totally understandable, mechanics need days off too. Was told by Mr Starr, to bring it in first thing @ 7:30am Monday. Come Monday, took it in, come to find out some trash had gotten on my engine, they took care of it, no problems since. Everyone was nice in there, happy, and smiling, right down to the pugs runnin' around in there. Just a great vibe, and a bunch of really good people working in there, who really are Fair, Honest, Committed, and Considerate to others. Trevor had said, if you notice anything please come back by, and I am 100% sure I will. Thanks Starr's! Pros: null Cons: null more
