I have been to this salon several times, for cut and color. My experience has varied-- I've been patient, because I've liked the stylist (Yasmeen), and was eager to stay with a place for a while. Following two recent experiences, however, I won't be going back. First, I called to cancel during a snowstorm. The salon was closed anyway but a receptionist answered remotely and re-scheduled for 9 am on Sunday. I arrived then-- no one was there. I waited until 9:15-- still dark and empty. When I called later the receptionist told me they couldn't have scheduled my appointment for that time, as the salon doesn't open until 10. No apology-- just the facts. At my next appointment I was told that Yasmeen would be working on two clients at the same time (for $58 I get to share a stylist). She'd wash my hair then leave to take care of the other woman, then return, etc. Because I only wanted a trim I didn't question it. My mistake. Perhaps that's the reason why I left with messy razor work, way too much texturizing, and an overall uneven haircut. more
