I make my decisions on what product to buy or which company to hire based upon consumer reviews and extensive research. I am always skeptical when a product or company’s reviews are all highly rated. It’s usually too good to be true, but sometimes it is true so I thought I would call Geyer for a free estimate. I am very glad I did. Mark Geyer, the owner, made the house call himself. Talk about the consummate professional. Mark is extremely knowledgeable about pest and rodent (my particular problem) control and brings years of experience to the table. He walked around my entire house with me to assess where the rodents may have gained entry. He immediately identified where the rodents were entering the attic and showed me the warning signs to look for and what attracts the rodents. Then he really surprised me when he offered all of this knowledge and years of experience FOR FREE! He explained exactly what to do and how to do it to get rid of my rodent problem. He told me that if what he recommended did not work then to call him back for a service visit and he would professionally take care of the problem. I mean really? In this economy, running a small business and you offer your knowledge and expertise for free? Other companies might have gouged me to make a quick buck or make a mountain out of a mole hill, but not Mark. I told him I would be recommending him to everyone in the neighborhood and posting reviews as a way to thank him for his services. Mark is a standup guy, extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. My rodent problem did, in fact, go away after following his detailed instructions. If you need pest control I would highly recommend calling Geyer. No I am not a shill for this company and yes this is a true story. Now I did not actually use Geyer’s pest control service so I cannot speak for that, but based upon my experience you can’t go wrong with at least giving this company a shot first. If the services are anywhere near the free inspection and consultation, I am sure it is of the utmost quality. Thank you again Mark!
