From an alterations business owner's side of things, we are not always at our best. At busy times of the year we work extra long hours to keep up with orders. And for sure, not all of our customers are stellar. At times we are swamped with too many customers in the store at the same time. Cell phones are ringing, customers are arguing with each other, and some can't make up their minds. As sales associates we are drawn in several directions at one time so it can appear that we are disorganized. TV shows like ""Say Yes to the Dress"" only scratch the surface of some of the drama that takes place in a bridal shop. I would offer that there are a multitude of places to purchase formal wear. A shop does not exist that has not had a problem over a gown with a customer. Read the negative and the positive comments. Then make your choice where to shop for your gown...
