A Valentine's bouquet just arrived from this florist, filled with brown, shriveled roses.
The bouquet included a note saying ""We at Coady Florist have built an excellent reputation on beautiful flowers and prompt service. If we ever fail to meet your expectations, please let us know,"" and a phone number. However, I shouldn't have bothered calling. The snippy man on the phone had nothing more to say than ""Well, I don't know what you want *me* to do about it"" and ""That's what the roses look like this year.""
They claim they'll come and exchange the bouquet...with an identical one, presumably filled with identically shriveled roses. Maybe they'll give my original shriveled bouquet to someone else. Happy Valentine's Day!
