My daughter attends Middle School, is handicapped and in a wheelchair. Reliable came to the school and told the teachers she needed a new seat for her wheelchair as she was growing. They took measurements in August 2011 and said the chair would be completed in 2 weeks. Sept - no seat , Oct - no seat, Nov - no seat, Dec - no seat. In the meantime I made 12 calls to Lisa Lang. When she did return my calls, I heard...they are backed up at Otto Bock Seating, the seat will be here soon, she told me they lost the paperwork, so they had to take measurements again. I called the Owner of Reliable Jeff Hall. He apologized and expressed how he felt about the handicapped. Now that we are in January and a new fiscal year with Medica he told me I needed to pay $2,000 for the deductible on the new seat that costs $4,885. I told him, this should have been billed on last years insurance. He told me that they would not proceed with the order after waiting 6 months already, 2 measurements, 12 phone calls and interruptions at the school for their recommendations. I have since contacted Otto Bock Seating. They told me turn around time is 1-2 weeks. I told them I had been waiting 6 months. I had also asked them about the ""lost paperwork"". They told me everything comes through the computer and they had just received the order in Jan 2012. Reliable is Unreliable. I still have not heard from Lisa Lang, just from Jeff Hall, saying Show Me the Money. Here's my advice for Reliable. Stay out of our schools with your reccommendations and a way to make money. Our children are our lives and we want the best for them. You are UnReliable and an inconvenience to myself and the school system. Jeff, you should be ashamed of yourself for the way you handled this. There are a lot more dependable reliable companies in Minnesota....and Lisa, still waiting for your phone call!
