In recent years I have turned to Pilates to help reverse the damage from mountain biking, motor-cross, hiking, and the other extreme sports I was doing outside. A few years back I thought my days on the bike were over because of a really bad shoulder injury. Desperate I started taking Pilates and since then I have not only recovered 110% but I am actually stronger, increasingly more flexible, and my core is in the best physical condition of my life. I was the last person wanting to commit to a weekly routine and now, I tell every knuckle head I meet that this stuff is definitely not just for girls! I wanted to take a couple of minutes to say thank you to Nancy and Raquel for the great workouts and education over the last two weeks while I was in Seattle for work. I am completely pumped to take what I have learned back to my local studio and challenge them to focus more on my technique and advancing the exercises. I have no doubt if I were to live here in the Bellevue area you would see me everyday just so I can get my Pilates fix! Let?s hope for more work up in the Northwest and good luck to the Core Pilates team.
