I was racing across the room so I could get a picture of her and they had her cake on a tea cart up against the wall AND HAD HER FACING THE WALL IN THE CORNER BY HERSELF WHEN THEY STARTED SINGING HAPPY BIRTHDAY. It was so upsetting even one of the helpers looked at my face and said do you want us to sing again. I said YES and can we move the tea cart to the middle of the room where her friends can be around her while we sing instead of putting her in the corner up against the wall?! So they moved her and we sang again.No one even knew where she was.The girls were told after 40 minutes that they had to return the dresses to put their clothes on that they came in when we had an hour left to the party.Some of the parents as well as I asked if the girls could leave the outfits on since we still had 45 minutes left to the party and the owner said absolutely NOt! The girls were really sad and upset. I even asked one of the helpers if we don't take the time to open presents can the girls keep the outfits on and the answer once again was ABSOLUTELY NOT! In fact when I asked if we could skip opening the presents to give the girls more play time.My daughter really wanted to try a different outfit on so my husband asked if the birthday girl could please try another outfit on(remember paying $280 plus $85 for princess = almost $400 to have it THEIR WAY ONLY) WE WERE TOLD ABSOLUTELY NOT and when my father asked her why the owner replied because she has always done it this way and that's the way it is.The girls were really upset. I mean this is what it's all about letting the girls dress up and have fun.From beginning to end you are not allowed to change anything at all or have any say so and the owner who hides in the back is just completely rude and very unprofessional. When we paid the deposit I had asked her if the party was 1hr and 45min or 2 hours. She replied that it usually always runs into 2 hours and its no big deal. Well,it was 1hr and 30 minutes and they were starting to try to pick up and by the time it was 1 hr and 45 minutes they were all but pushing people out of the room. She hadn't said two words to us the entire time So I go pay her and expressed that we were very disappointed and it wasn't worth the money and she replied well I'm sorry to hear that.She didn't care she had her money.That was the first time I had ever paid that much for a party and truly felt that it wasn't worth a penny.When you pay $85 extra for a kid to dress up as a princess for your daughter's party you expect them to talk to the kids and keep them interested in the party and to have fun with them. She was extremely quiet.She did make the pictures look nice.I guess it's a good thing I did get her because there wasn't much to the party.The best part of the whole party was the fashion show and that was less then 10minutes.The girls in the jeans and t shirts were pouring the tea for the kids which we were told the princess would be pouring the tea for the kids and talking with them and playing with them.There wasn't even enough seating for the adults who brought the kids to sit in the room. Most had to go in the front room and it was so hot from the sun beating through the glass that they had to wait in there and was never approached by the owner or asked if they were okay.It truly was a lesson learned.I just want people to know before they pay TOO MUCH MONEY for nothing.You get much better service from a Chuck E Cheese party.Atleast they treat the birthday child with respect and acknowledge them.I don't think people would mind paying if the party venue would make it worth their money.She is not out to please the customer at all and doesn't care if you are not pleased. She does things her way and that's the only way it will be done.The little girls(hostesses)were very quiet and did not interact too much with the party guests.The owner is very unprofessional and not at all concerned for the sake of the customer.
