I have lived in downtown Seattle for 7 years, do not own a car, rent when I need to and can say with authority that you should rent here at your own risk: from playing games with rental prices, to hard selling you on insurance to booking cars and then having none available for hours this is a terrible place to rent. There are about 8 or 9 better alternatives for renting cars in downtown Seattle, starting with Dollar (for the best rates in town, great customer service and only about 5 blocks walk from these guys) to Budget, to National, Alamo, Avis and Hertz. Make Enterprise your desperation call. Or get a ZipCar.
