When I first come to Sovereign I had a lot of behavioral problems and I acted out emotionally and through going to the groups and meeting with my therapist and the counseling that was provided here. I can safely say that today some of those behavioral issues have gotten under control. I really have enjoyed the symptom management group and that has helped me to identify my symptoms and to be able to deescalate, disengage, be mindful and awareness of certain situations. I have also enjoyed the stages of change group because it helps prepare you for you know various changes that life may bring to you. My least favorite group is probably Brain Wellness just because it is a PowerPoint and it is kind of boring but other than you know all of the counselors and therapists and the people that run the group do an amazing, wonderful job and I have learned a lot through you know different trials and being able to put into practice the things I have learned in group with my peers.
