After going to the same stylist in my hometown for years, I decided it was time to find a salon closer to home. A friend reccommended Susan (or Meg) at Sevan, so I made an appointment with Susan. I got an appointment very quickly. (and their hours are really convenient for someone who works full time!) \r
First impression when I walked in... GREAT! Everyone smiles and says hello when you walk in! They are really welcoming and friendly, especially the girl at the front desk! (Which is something that is really important to me. I hate when the front desk person is rude or acts like you are bothering them. NOT HERE! They seem happy to see you, know your name, etc.)\r
For being a high-end salon, they were not pretencious or intimidating at all. I felt like I have been going there for years. \r
The waiting room is comfortable and nice. It is in the back of the salon, which I like because I hate when people in the waiting room are watching you get your hair cut or colored. I had to wait a few minutes, but just a normal amont of time. And Susan acknowledged that I was there and said hello and made sure I knew that she knew I was there. I appreciated that. \r
As for the actual hair cut and color... AWESOME! Susan did an amazing job! She even took extra time to do more than I had asked because she knew what I wanted more than I did! She went above and beyond to make me look good! (Especially because I was getting my hair done after a 3 month maternity leave and she wanted me to feel great when I went back to work.)\r
My husband and a few friends also go to Meg and really like her! \r
Prices were comparable to other salons, so no surprises there.\r
Overall, I highly reccommend Sevan. I have been extremely happy with their service and am a very satisfied client! \r
