James arrived on time - right in the center of the appointment window. Asked me to operate the garage door opener, and immediately identified that the gearing had been stripped. He pointed out that the reason the gears had been stripped was likely due to the rollers and the drag they were causing. I approved the service which he promptly handled and following it's completion he walked me through the repair and also highlighted 2 areas - install a surge protector to protect the circuitry and when we do decide to replace the door in the future he advised that we should re-use the rollers to save on the installation costs.
