My '31 Model A Ford cut out on Northup Way, but was able to coast in to shop. Next morning, I drove it home 1/4/2012

I hit the shop stone cold, but in dire need of immediate help with my Model A Ford to ensure that the engine, a 1929 model year, would reliably get me home. Suffice it to say that my diagnosis of a fuel problem proved to be wrong while on a road test. Towed back to the shop, further test showed a bad coil. Fixed in jig time, the charge was reasonable and the service superior. I could have been really ripped off, an 83 year old engine isn't every mechanic's cup of tea. In fact most mechanics claim ignorance and won't even touch it. From the moment we pushed the "A" into the shop, I had no qualms about how the relationship would work out; as was also the case later for son Jim's Ranger needing a new clutch, shocks, etc. As a family, we'll be back again.
