My 1998 Subaru Outback was experiencing some knocking that I was concerned about. I first took it over to some other shop (lets not name it) but they immediately tried to sell me a new engine block which would eventually come to 6K. The mechanic here at Auto Repair for Less was much more methodical about the diagnostic process and provided 2-3 options as well. I ended up getting a used engine with less than 50K miles on it for half the cost. I had a good vibe coming into this place and left with that same good vibe.
