Stay away!!! There is a good reason why this business gets a ""D"" grade from the Better Business Bureau. They were like dogs on a bone when I went in looking for appliances for a new kitchen. They even called me at home several times to come back in. We spent well over $6000 for 3 high end appliances (and bought the 5 year warranty)...7 months later, 2 of the appliances broke (main pieces totally fell off). I called the store, they provided little help and were rude. They gave me a service # for one appliance (when I called this #, they said they couldn't help me either and didn't have any # that I could call to get the refrigerator that was under warrenty repaired...UGH!!!!) and told me to look up the phone # for the other appliance. I then asked him what type of information I would need to give the the manufacturer to prove that I bought the items from Silver City and he didn't know. Couldn't help. I told him I was disappointed in the assistance I was getting and he was was unapologetic. He gave me a quick and insincere ""Thanks for calling"" and hung up. I deeply regret buying from them. I have several properties and have had great customer service from Sears and PC Richards. I understand that they don't personally provide service to the products they sell, but they definitely could have been more helpful in giving me the information I needed. I thought I would try to help a local business and should have researched it more. My bad...never again.\r \r more
