Got a change to play Torrey Pines and was really looking forward to it. I should have known the way the day was going to go when I paid for my round, for the south course, and when I went inside the club house.....got attitude from the people working there. Had to rent club and let's just say they were cheap and weren't clean at all. Once I got out on the course found the fairways only had two paths mowed in them, about 20 feet apart and the rest looked like rough....nothing like hitting out of rough in the middle of the fairways. I expected more from the place.....especially after paying over $150 after paying for the round and crappy clubs. The views were good the the golf cart girl was top notch, good service and gave us some info on good spots to eat in the area. If you are going to golf there....pay for the cheaper north course....I just hope you experience is better than mine.
