while they may be able to handle a simple move as indicated above, St. Pete Mayflower was totally incompetent for our complicated move. every step was botched
1) the packing was sloppy at best (a dozen lampshades were torn or destroyed)
2) improper storage and handling of furniture resulted in breaking and chipping of many fine antiques ( a BOX of broken parts was delivered with my furniture)
3) shipping dates were always changing and never communicated
4) My BIG COMPLAINT is that the agents at St. Pete Moving & Storage and at Mayflower Corporate Headquarters were unhelpful, dismissive, and rude.
I expected more from a nationally affiliated moving company. I was extremely disappointed!
