I can see why there are mixed reviews on here. Let me try to clear things up so people can make up their minds.
Parking- It was common sense to me that there was parking in the back. Parking is easily marked and close to the back door which is clearly labelled.
Cleanliness- It is an absolute pigsty. Packed to the ceiling with random crap that I am sure is overpriced. Really disappointing to see some of the stuff they have butchered up the way it is.
Inventory- They do have an impressive collection of crap. Can't deny that. If you are looking for something inparticular, I am sure it's there. You just might need to repair or sterilize it first.
Service - The younger of the male employees is quite helpful. Greeted me nicely and answered all my stupid questions without making me feel they were stupid (hey if I knew the answers, I wouldn't be there right?).
The other, older male employee is not really the type of person that should be in the service business. He clearly hates talking to people and may be a little bitter about how his younger days went. I tried to be nice and evoke some type of response, but I got an assembly line of one-word answers and a complete, overwhelming slap in the face of disinterest.
Overall- I kind of expect uncleanliness and anti-social employees in a comic shop so my expectations were low going in. The one employee is very nice and takes my focus off the rest of the store. The other employee makes the piles of junk swell. But, they probably have what you need and it's in a good location where parking is NOT an issue.
I would definitely recommend it, but please, just remember... you are entering a comic store, not an Abercrombie & Fitch. Expect to be welcomed by bummers.
