They really only get one star because the repaired tire has not had any other issues. I brought my car in to have a tire repaired and ended up leaving without my IPod I had in the glove compartment.
2 disclaimers...
1st... I know I should have taken the ipod out but I assumed a large establishment like Sears would hire more civil individuals than any old shop in the hood.
2nd...I also should have checked for it the moment I got my car back but considering I had things to do and the 45min job took 2 hours I was in a bit of a rush. I didn't drive that car for a few days and didn't realize the IPod was missing until about a week after I had been to the shop.
Now knowing that the car was locked and had not driven since then I called Sears to figure out what had happened. Although I was very upset I was calm with everyone I spoke with up to the manager who told me that he would have LP take a look at the camera and see if anyone was in that area of the car. An hour or so later he called and explained that from the camera he could not see if anyone had been in my glove compartment. He did know everyone who had worked on and been in my car and explained that he would "interview" them and would call me back the next week with what he could find. It has been over a month now and I have not have heard from them since.
At the end of the day it was only a IPod nano but establishments like this with good for nothing managers that hire criminals to steal from hard working upstanding individuals need to take a much closer look during their screening and background checks.
