Avoid using Safari Tours at all cost! My wife and I went on two tours (the Sunset Cruise and the Everglades) and were scheduled to do the Seaquarium Tour...thank goodness we got out of that! We were picked up for the Sunset Cruise late but still made it to the Marina just before the cruise was to set sail...at which point we waited for over an hour and a half. By that time the sun had set! How can you have a Sunset Cruise without any sunset? When I called to complain (while still on the dock waiting) I was insulted and ridiculed for making a fuss. The employees were basically rude, mean and (at times) quite clueless. \r
We complained to a manager the next day and were assured that this was a fluke (no apology though) and were told that the Everglades tour would be much better...we were told we would be actually on the fan-boat for 3 hours or so. 24 Minutes!!! That's it! Due to further Safari delays it took almost 2 hours to get to the tour at which point we sat and waited for 3 Hours. After the very falsely advertised boat ride of 24 Minutes we sat again for another hour and a half before they boarded us back on the bus. They then returned us home over 2 Hours later than they had advertised! Complete Scam! Almost 8 hours away for 24 Minutes on the boat. Once again, my complaints were only answered with rudeness and insults.\r
Do NOT use Safari Tours! They are complete scam artists with very poor customer service. You would be better off sitting in your hotel room and staring out the window. I wish I had paid more attention to the many horrible reviews online prior to paying my hard-earned money.\r
